Château Tour des Termes

Château Tour des Termes takes its name from an old tour, or tower, located on a vineyard plot called Les Termes.

The origin of this tower dates back to Gallo-Roman times. Remnants of boat moorings from this period suggest

that there was once a lighthouse on this site, probably marking the entrance to an outer harbour of the ancient

Gallo-Roman town of Brion a few kilometres away.

The name "des Termes" means "the end of the land".

5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot
Average age of the vines : 40 years old
Ageing : 15 months in barrels, 50% renewed each year.

Serve between 16 and 17°C
Aging potential between 15 and 20 years.
